General Manual Labrourer

As a General Manual labourer you will perform a variety of tasks at all kinds of construction sites. Tasks that require little skill can be learned quickly; other tasks require considerable experience or training. You are often required to work outside in all kinds of weather or in buildings without heating or air conditioning.

Your main duties will vary. They may include cleaning and preparing a job site for loading and delivering materials. You may need to use a variety of different tools and machines such as drills, forklifts, power drills and many other tools. As a labourer you may need to set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures.

The main requirements for this type of job is to have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. You must also be able to concentrate on the tasks given and to do it to the best of your ability. Furthermore, the ability to communicate in both English and or any other European language may also help and allow you to advance in your position and profession.
